So I can imagine that this would have similar impact to others. The new folder icons look terrible on my theme which has not changed and probably never will. Many of us use themes. People don't generally like forced changes. I think the change should have been an optional one which people could have selected in settings. But I believe that Chromium was where the change occurred. Google Chrome also has the same backlash when this happened.
